Bliss album art downloader for OS X

Elsten software have announced the release of bliss for Mac OS X. bliss is a fully automated album art organiser for digital music. bliss saves time when managing large music collections by running fully automatically, fixing your music collections so it complies with the rules you specify. The result is a cleaner, more consistent and correct MP3 library.

As a cover art downloader, it can add album art by looking in reputable online sources. It can resize album art that is outside your required size. It can embed art, and re-embed existing art. bliss runs automatically in the background, applying your rules to your music collection. It is ideal for installation on home servers such as Mac Minis, but the new release also works on other Mac OS X based computers.

Right now bliss organises album art and file and folder locations for your music according to your rules. bliss assesses your MP3s and other digital music according to these rules and fixes music that is non-compliant automatically. Automatic rule based music management is suited to large music collections that are too unwieldy to be organised manually. More rules are coming, such as auto-tagging and automatic categorisation of your music.

bliss is also available for Windows, Linux and VortexBox. bliss comes with 100 free fixes, which means album art can be fixed according to your rules for 100 albums. Further fixes require purchase of a top-up of 1000 fixes or an unlimited licence.
